Barbara is a designer and writer hailing from iconic Australian holiday destination Byron Bay, where she enjoyed life in paradise for 20 years.  In between yoga classes, whale watching and organic green smoothies, she was busy honing her skills in fine art, graphic design, floristry, interiors and photography.

Having nurtured a lifelong dream to visit Paris, Barbara took an impromptu, whirlwind holiday to the city and knew her future was there.  With France in her pants, she bid au revoir to paradise and bonjour to the city of love!  After two years travelling through Europe, a love story with a Frenchman, publishing articles for CHIVANA and pretending to learn french, she returned to Australia to develop an exciting project for CHIVANA, launching December 2019.

Now residing on the coconut palm-fringed tropical shores of the Great Barrier Reef, Barbara divides her time between artistic projects, travel and eating as many coconuts as she can find.

Barbara's natural talents in visual storytelling is evident in the articles she shares for CHIVANA that inspire others to weave chi through body, abode and life, and fulfill their wildest dreams!
